Claude Cahun's art has had huge impact on my work. Out of respect I wanted to create my vision of their work. The text is a mixture of paragraphs from their iconic 'Disavowals' publication.
ITS JUST SILLY GAMES
2022
A game played among young children, especially girls. Executed by slapping hands together,- chest and to tighs to the rhythm of the words. Or if played alone played similar to hopscoth. Seen enacted on playgrounds, school yards, 1885-present day all around the globe.
